My new wheel bearings are installed and I could go for a shake down ride tomorrow afternoon, say 4pm for a couple of hours.
Any takers?

Wish I could, but after picking up the DR, I gotta knuckle down around here, and at Dad's, get some chores done for the next week. Cathy has Berrium tests Monday, and Chemo Wednesday... so I think I'll just order the tires and such, and get the DR ready....

It's still gonna be awhile before I can join y'all regularly, but I'll get the bike set up, and be ready for the day when I can break out for a few hours...

Hey...CANOLI, BUSTER....front and center.... someone check out M&MM Sunday!

Maybe Sunday Monkee

This is my first checkin since becoming an AARSE. I might be able to join you Sunday afternoon if I get all my chores done in the morning. I'm on a big bike though, so I can't follow you through the tight stuff. Let me know what you've got in mind.

An R1200GS. I'd like a smaller DS to thrash around on, but it's not in the budget right now. So I poke around fire roads on this and get my kicks in the dirt on a YZ450F.

Woo-woo Lonestar - your GS is purrty. I hadn't seen that top box B4. I am guessing it is a Micatech like the side case. I sold my 1150 GS earlier this year.

Thanks, that pic was taken right after a wash. Yes, it's a Micatech top box. I saw Micatech's owners Bob and Sue at this year's GA mountain rally and they had the top boxes there. I had just bought the side cases a couple weeks earlier and decided to pick up the top box to match.

Great looking GS's guys! Spoon some knobbies on those bad boyz and let's play. Last year, at the "SCRUB" in Florida, there were some GS's sportin' knobs having a ball out on the trails....well, fire breaks, they were'nt exactly single track, fire roads, etc. Even in the sugar sand! It was a site to see!

Oh....wait a minute. Better order my knobbies first.....LOL!

This was in Madison, GA this morning about 10:00am....

Loaded on the trailer and ready to head home!

Shortly after getting home, the orders started flowing...tires, sprokets, bars, bark busters, IMS tank, springs..... yeah baby. The fun is just getting started. Gotta fab up a tool box, richen up the carb, remove some safety switches...MAKE HER MINE! Cooler temps are coming, and I'll have a day or 2 I can slip out before Cathy's treatments are done.....

Did I mention I like to ride all winter..... even more than the 100F temps of summer.
