Forest Service Closing Area (MO)

I got a email about Forest Service Closing a area in MO.

Please call or email to keep the (FS) Forest Service from closing this area. It's allot of good riding and if we don't do something we will loose this area.

I sent you a note regarding this a few weeks ago as I thought this might be of interest.
...Just wanted to be sure you were aware of this FS proposal. Comments are open until this Monday so if you want to make any comments they need to be made now.
So far there have been no Comments submitted to the FS.
.
They are planning to close (decommission) a number of miles of Non System roads unless there is a special use permit for them. This area is bordered by Highway 49, and 32 West of Bixby to the West Fork of the Huzzah Creek (438 County Road) and includes much of the Boss/Bixby and Casteel areas that are of interest to Doe Run and the area surrounds the Mtra riding area.
Should you want to comment by phone you can call Kenyata Lawyer in Salem at 573 729 6656 or you can comment by letter, postmarked before Monday, or email.
The link showing the transportation system (non system roads are preceded by NS, and are red with double dashed lines) is

I mentioned this at the Halloween get together at the MTRA riding area and no one was aware of it. Leo Koch seemed interested and asked some questions but I didn’t have the link to give him at the time and don’t have his email to send it to him.

I just sent an email and I'll ask friends to do the same.
My wording probably could have been better, but I just stated that I ride those roads frequently which brings tourism dollars to the area.

I think the comment period is over.
