Waterloo/Cedar Falls breakfast

I'm thinking about a Waterloo/Cedar Falls breakfast for the 21st. Say 9:00 am ish. I am going to need some ideas for places to go. There's the Evansdale truck stops, Perkins on Uni, Crappy Chefs, and IHOP. I mean if someone has another idea please share it.

Edit!!!!
Breakfast in Waterloo/Cedar Falls will be at Gravy's Diner on University Ave. Saturday, March 21st at 9:00am. I need to know how many are coming out so I can see if I'll need to reserve a couple of tables. Just add your name to the list.

Long gone and resold in Indiana someplace. Bought a Bandit 1250 and traded it for the Sprint I really wanted one of the VFR leftovers in Mason City you told me about, but he sold them from under me when I said I'd wire money within the hour for the one I wanted. Guy was a real prick over the phone.

I might have 3 coming with me. Up in the air if I am riding or not with this cold I am recovering from. The other two's bikes are still down IIRC

The guy seemed pretty decent to me in person. I really wanted the white VFR they had but went with a new 1200 GS instead.

I was at Struthers Bros. in Des Moines last Friday with GraveHunter. They had a very nice used 2001 VFR in RED with the matching hard cases.

Never did get to sit on it or look at it better because 2 guys were drooling over it. I didn't see any helmets so they most likely didn't try it out.

Call and ask, maybe check it out this coming saturday!

It sure is purty!

GH and I watched them take that used F650 off the back of a truck. I guess he traded her in on something else.

Thanks, but I like the Sprint more than the VFR and I can not afford to buy/trade bikes for a couple more seasons.

That VFR gives me a hard-on but it is waaaaaay to rich for my blood.

So we are on for this Saturday morning at 9am at Perkins in Cedar Rapids? I should be able to make that... Can't say for sure whether I'll ride right now but it could happen. I've got a date this weekend but I can save that for Saturday night

Hey 30 Bones and MX Champ...Thanks to both of you for your kind offers to help me with putting new tires on my DRZ400. I might take you up on that offer at some point! In the meantime I've been doing too many business trips and haven't been around very much. I wish it would warm up so I could ride the BMW to the business meetings in western Iowa instead of a car. Boring. Thanks again.

Has anybody tried out the new KLR650s? I used to own a 2007 one. I saw one of the new 2009 KLRs this week on a business trip in western Iowa for $5,300. I like the modified look of them. How does the new version ride?
