I picked up a new helmet before Xmas for myself, was going to buy a giant loop bag, but I have a beer belly I need to work off....Sooooo I just got an 09 Giant Seek2 from world of bikes in IC today with proceeds from my GF and parents.

I got the BarPack Mapcase (080-0030) by Cycoactive for xmas.

Anyone have a favorite place to order oil filters from? ... and other parts?
... or do you just go support your local bike dealer's service department?

Also, Minneapolis Convention Center Motorcycle Show is 2/5-7. Some dual sports there, but not a lot. KTM had a nice display last year.

Support local businesses when you can and keep the money local.

We are heading up to the Cycle World International Motorcycle Show Feb 19-21, 2010 in Chicago. I think there is about 10 of us from the IC area going so let me know if there is anyone else interested.

I am going to ask a friend if he is going. We planned to last year, but work got in the way

Sweet - a bunch of the IC bike night guys are headed up and I think we are all going to pile in a couple vans/suv's and car pool.

It will be fun and I heard that the Chicago one is always a little bigger than the Minneapolis one.

I will save you a seat in the LR if you want to just come down and leave your car at my house and ride with us.

Oh! I am finally going to call Halls in Springfield on getting my bike tuned and setting up a time to head out there if you still want to check out their bikes

Yeah sure - my lady is going out of town 2 weekends this month so let me know when you are going and i will ride along if its one of those.

LOL - note I said "when you can" and I bought it used from a local dealer so it was a local sale and I am pretty sure my money didn't go to the Brits.

Yup if your bike uses a spin on filter....many AutoZones have cartridge filters also to pick from. If your parts guy can get them, have him stock a few extra if you don't change bikes a lot like me.

It's in the works. 3 of us will be rolling out Friday after work. No other plans have been made.
