Wonder what they would do If I rode up on the CT to test drive it lol!
I can't even buy a $700 pitbike unless I want to buy it $20 at a time. They will know for sure I can't afford any of the bmws. If you guys are going to test drive it though, post up so I can bring the CT or the supermoto as a chase vehicle.

Don't worry, I'll make it over there eventually... They are probably wise to my joy-riding at this point though

And you better believe you'll have a chaperone on S1000RR rides meaning you won't get to do any cool wheelies or burnouts

Depends who the chaperon is.... I just want to ride it, I don't really care if i go over 55mph and/or keep both wheels on the ground, I just want to ride it...

x2 I don't like riding other peoples bikes, let alone dealers. I rode a friends K1200S and good lord that bike was amazing.

Im stuck in IC for the day saturday for my wife to visit her sister. I have a free pass in the afternoon maybe 12-4 or 5. Anyone want to grab a beer and bullshit? Yes this is how lame your life gets when married.

There is an "un-creating" of the demo S1000RR at Gina's BMW in Iowa City from 10am - 1pm on Sat, maybe you can swing down for that. They don't have the key so not demo's on yet tho...

I do have a lump in my throat on the BMW demo rides, just because I know the repair bills would be $$$. On the other hand, I don't see the point in climbing on a rocketship bike if you aren't going to give it some oats

I would argue that, BMW's have the least amount of service needed/failure to deal with and they are surprisingly easy to work on yourself. Especially the boxer motors... Just my thoughts tho...

As far as the rocketship, I guess my curiosity just overwhelms me and I have to ride it even if I don't get to see what she can really do. A taste is better than nothing sometimes, sometimes not though so you don't know what you are missing.

Remember there is no law against getting to 55mph in 2sec as long as you have it under control and don't spin the wheel(s) - LOL. Ok maybe there is a law...

That is one thing to note about the S1RR - it's a screamer, but they've put all the ABS and traction control devices on there so odds are it don't let you flip it at the very least

I believe you about the service costs. I was thinking more about the financial ramifications of putting it into a lamp post
