Help!!

I live in central IA, about 10 min north of Des Moines. I have several groups of friends in different, "scenes", if you will. But i dont have any friends that ride.

Guys my age that have bikes are USUALLY douche bags and just want to go as fast as possible from one gas station parking lot to the next and only on fri or sat nights.

Any central IA ADV'ers looking for another riding buddy??

Ian

I'm a little too far east. Just relocated here in May and don't know many people. Usually ride alone as my friends that I have that are reasonably close (within 2 hours) are dirt only. Kinda miss my old riding area up along the Mississippi and into WI. Haven't found anything all that great down here yet. You can only ride around Coralville Lake so many times.

I guess I'm still a newbie here. I made the mistake of trying to go to the grocery store as Hawkeye game traffic was leaving. What should have been a 20-minute deal took over an hour.

Any decent tracks out that way ?

I wouldn't mind the drive if you need someone to moto with, I think Richie has thrown in the towel, he hasn't rode since Leaf River.

We did go to Redbud on the 4th, Gus wouldn't let us in the PU tent, imagine that !!!

I play at a couple of private tracks not too far away. Our club's favorite vintage track is about 45-minutes west of me. Other than that, D-22 is thin compared to what we had in IL.

Gus...jeez.

Well bud, you got my number, call if you find the time.

Gonna make breakfast & bloody marys, go mark some single track with the doggies this morning and finish painting the house today.

BTW........we did get a Welsh Pembrook Corgie from a horse farm in Dekalb, he is one awsome little dog, Peggy really adores him, later dude.

Bring your bike & your AMA card. It's easy stuff. You'll have a blast.

Photo Tag Anyone?

If anyone wanted to join in... the KC area photo tag does reach into Iowa...since the Central tag is at some distances longer than some have time for.

I AM heading to WI this weekend to run the TWAT finally. I ran it from start to Gays Mills earlier. Going to run from Soldiers Grove early Saturday morning and hope to get it completed in two long days??? Going to be a shittin n gitten type trip, but that's how I roll sometimes.

Last trip up there ended p with a broken bone in my foot before I even unloaded the bike Labor Day

Talking Riding?

Thinking of riding at the OHV park in either Tama or Marshalltown this saturday. Probably Marshalltown it's closer.

Pretty much have done all the other OHV parks this summer aside from Council bluffs.

Look for a yellow jeep with 3 dirtbikes.
