KTM does make a 50 state street legal from the factory....including VIN on several models. Trick is to find these...I would start by calling over to the Quad Cities dealer and finding out what VIN code shows if it's street legal... There are a lot of garage conversions out there so this would be a way to make sure you can keep it on the street if you find a nice used one.

KTM 450/525/530's EXC's became street legal in 2007. Anything older is not. Husky TE250/450/510's became street legal in 2006.

Does anybody 'round here have one of those chain riveter tools? I just ordered a new chain today and they told me it has a clip link, but since it is a nice chain I am not sure I believe them

A dealer will rivit it for next to nothing Austin

Duke runs! loose ground under the right side cover. All is well and I am happy once again. Looking for dirt wheels for it and an 18L tank. If not I will consider trades down the road. not too worried about it yet.

I can't make bfast in W'loo this weekend. I have to help build my nephew loft for his bday present.

Thanks. I have a trailer when you cross that bridge LMK.

Upon searching for a rivet tool, I think I may have one

Don't want to get rid of my X challenge.

But your duke is sweet!

Hey anybody know what size the main jet and slow jet is for a 1995 RM 250 for this elevation?

It's a Mikuni carb, all stock!

Hey,

Anybody going to meet me in DBQ on Saturday at 1 at the Village Inn on JFK? I saw a KLR and a KTM go past my house on S. Grandview today while digging the goopy clay out of the alley so the car doesn't drag as much.

Paul

PS.

About registering bikes in Iowa. I called the DBQ courthouse before moving back and the guy there said they run the vin against a database of street legal ones and if it isn't on the Dbase, it is not going to get plates.

Paul
