Just get a set of these for $25. They zip tie on and if you have heated grips, it should be all you need.

sorry, forgot how to post pics on here other than using an image shack link. Anyway, I haven't ridden with these yet. I do not have brush guards. I think the enclosed nature of them will really help, maybe even allow use of summer type gloves. I moved my mirrro inwards a bit, might work ok as is but the other way to do it is cut a hole for the mirror. Can't say if this material would try to fray/tear. For $16 it was worth a try anyway.

One end of them has springy metal strips, the other end (where your hands go) has adjustable straps.

Please send a linky to those radar dishes please. I don't have heated grips on the 520, I do have those chemical hand warmers, that's what I use for the 520.

640 has heated grips.

I don't have a link. They are Moose brand foam guards and can be ordered through any dealer, who has a Parts Unlimited distributorship.

Fuck yeah, I'm down! Can I use one of your bikes though? Mine's all disassembled and in a garage. Hey, wait, drinking sounds like a better idea.

After riding on the street a few times with ice screws, these are not the hot set up for hard surfaces. They work great, but wear down to nothing in a few rides. If it's completely snow packed or ice, you're fine. And they work great offroad.
