Yellowstone is a beautiful place, and is one of my favorite places. Wife and I rode there on our honeymoon 32 years ago. We went back two years ago and it was very crowded and stopped traffic backed up for miles for one elk. Maybe with high fuel prices the traffic will be low for you. If you want to go where there is very little traffic ride to Alaska , the Yukon and N.W.T. are very remote. Here is a link to my story from our ride up there last summer. http://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?topic=1417.0

I rode through Yellowstone during the last week of July 2011, we got on the road about 8am and almost had the place to ourselves till 10am,
best Yellowstone ride I have ever had. 4 days later we rode through at about 9am, half way through we started getting into some heavier traffic,
early morning sure worked great for us.

Yellowstone has over 300 miles of roads with a max speed of 45 with 1,000s of scenic places to see. Your 2 hours of the place to yourselfs wouldn't have given you much time to see it. I always like to get up and on the road early too though, more animals out at that time to see.
