FYI Gina's BMW in Iowa City is having an open house for their 18th year in business on May 5th (so a week from Saturday). They will have food, demo bikes, and I guess stunt riding also. I am planning on going for it, I would like to spend some time on the r1200gs and f800gs.

Awesome! Looking forward to meeting you, I just spent the last 2 hours reading your Alaska trip report. I am not plotting to do it someday, it looked like an AMAZING trip. Look for me at Gina's I would enjoy chatting with you, I will be on a white R90/6.

I believe I will be at Gina's as well. My bro and mom's BF will be coming. Fallacy... You in? The stunt rider's name is Teach. He's really good.

Guys, let me know...I might ride along to Gina's. Not that I am thinking of getting rid of the Multi just yet but having never been there and only hearing good things.

I might go. If I do, I'll ride the Des Moines River south and then cut up to Iowa City.

Ok so who has the Blue and Orange KTM Adventure? I was coming up Merle Hay Road and saw one going the opposite direction on Merle Hay this afternoon.

Pretty kick ass bike isn't it? I am horrible with names but one of the guys here knows him well.
On a side note, hosted Tiffany Coates last night. Amazing lady. Hopingto get her back through in June-ish when she can spend a day or two riding with us. http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=784451 http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=687109

Yeah it was a really good looking bike, in the next year or so I want to pick up either a used R1200GS or used KTM Adventure, may even consider the f800gs. I have only driven the 1200gs and I was in love with it. Never ridden a KTM but man do I like how they look and what they are capable of.

Quite literally, my only complaint about the Multi is that it isn't more of a direct competitor with the GS. I wish it was slightly more dirt friendly.
