Stinkin' drywall screw

I went down to Winterset last night to their bike night. Rode around the square and saw nothing but Harleys, so I headed home. I went to the garage this morning to head out on the bike for errands and found this in the back tire:

Hey, did you get a chance to ride them both back to back? What do you think? I've got a 2012 KLR, so I was wondering how they compared. Look back on page 277 and you can see a trip I took with my brother. Good times.

Another one reporting for Iowa roll call

I recently relocated from Blair/Omaha, NE area to Ottumwa, IA. No dual sport at the moment, the Concours 14 is my one and only for now.

I've met eemsreno and look forward to meeting other local riders here. Are there any regular get togethers like monthly breakfasts, or photo-tags going on?

I didn't ride his v strom because this is the first time he has been on a motorcycle in 20 years, so I figured he needed the seat time.

Welcome NC Kat 750
monthly breakfasts would be fun but I have never seen anything going on here in Iowa. We are a bunch of duds.

Maybe we need an organizer,, your elected.

I was going to the Swinging Bridges thing in Missouri on the 5th. However, the water is likely to be deep for the water crossings. Anyone interested in making a Dragoon Trail camping trip?

Considering I know nothing about it... YES!

I can't do the GRGR trip since it'd be about 300 miles for me to even get to the start.

So, what's the details on this Dragoon trail? Where would we start? Where does it go? Where would we camp?

Of course I gotta get my voltage regulator regulating voltage first. But, then I'd be interested.
