Yeah your response on weather is what really got my looking at other destinations. Now I am really looking forward to the trip I have never been through the Smoky Mountains.

Levi, I have some suggestions if you find yourself in eastern Kentucky and can put you in contact with a great guy who owns a very nice campground smack dab in the middle of some roads that easily rival US129.

Only slightly more than a week until I head out for Indy.

Anyone else going and interested in tagging along on the ride down?

WDSM to Springfield, IL on Thursday.
Springfield to Indy early Friday.

Then coming back on Sunday into Monday...

Let me know.

After a cool/cold RAGBRI was nice to ride in the warm... well then again the fog mist this morning was fun... oh how I love Iowa... hate the weather? Wait about 2 hrs... it will change.

Wouldn't this be cool to do locally?

If you own a Apple computer, ask somebody with a PC to help you.

Lost Creek Road Missouri

Made it across the border into MOngolia for a weekend camp trip.
Wanted to find Lost Creek Road.
Very good riding.

The water was low but still fun.

Never seen one other vehicle on the road, was on it for about an hour with stops.

The road goes right down the creek sometimes

soft gravel beds?

Hi Steve,

Looks like a really fun ride. Would love to know more about it. I would imagine those creek beds would have some pretty soft/loose gravel in them. Roads look about the same. What kind of speeds were you doing while exploring this place?

Any issues with finding fuel? Whats the camping situation like? Cowboy camping or did you find a park nearby?

Thanks,

Paul

It was very loose gravel.
I was just passing through on my way to Springfield, MO.
My Aunt passed away there.
