After seeing your issues with your MTS I think I will pass on that red one and keep my 12 year old reliable 640.

Yes a KTM and reliable in the same sentence!?!?! It sometimes happens! :)
Yeah...I am definitely having a bit of buyer's remorse. My 900 Monster was rock solid reliable even when seriously neglecting maintenance and flogging the everliving snot out of it. This thing, I have been religious on maintaining and not a bit abusive to it and...well...

I am not ready to throw in the towel and buy an R1200GS just yet...but if I buy an extended warranty on the Multi and have to start actually using it...well...

I feel your pain. I put the fuel pump assembly back together, got it running and it died off again. Repeated the startup and sputter process a few more times to the same results. I am now looking at taking the bike to Gina's.

I won't have to take it all the way to Gina's. I'll have Van Wall do the diagnostic...then go from there on what needs to be repaired. I'm trying to keep the cost down. I really want to get it fixed and sold asap.

If the fix isn't too expensive, I'll put the xMoto up and when it's sold I'm hoping to score a KTM 950 Adventure.

That's what I'm hoping to do anyway. I have to get the BMW running and sold first. Orangecicle let me sit on his, it is the same height as mine, so that's good and the big plus is Doug can do any work on it that I can't.

Sucks about you MTS. At least it broke now vs start if riding season next year.

Wait for the KTM 1190 Adventure before making a purchase decision on your next bike.

I have a load of maps for north of dubuque and south of dubuque. If you need them let me know, I'd be happy to e-mail them to you. They are on garmin and I think I can send them via e-mai, if this link doesn't work

How big are the files? If you can email them, our fellow Iowan Inmate, Varmit may have some webspace to host them.

If you email them to me at
gravityisnotmyfriend@hotmail.com

I'll see about getting them hosted and putting a link up.
