Throw an AC unit in the kitchen window then you'll be GTG!

um....Just looked at the radar. Unless that storm blows through in record time I'm thinking that I'm probably not coming down for breakfast.

here I go again...day ride

for lack of a better/closer route I am planning to head over to Jackson Cntry and ride one of Craig's routes for the day on July 2nd. My brother is coming up from Texas with his new to him 07 DRZ400 and I have a newer to me 02 DRZ400. My brother is stepping over from a Buell Ully to the DRZ, I'm going from KLR to DRZ, so we are both sort of feeling out the new bikes on this trip.
I'd like to get started by 9am, but I think he mentioned we might need to do some tinkering on his bike, so 10am might be more suitable. If anyone is flexible (+/- 1 hr, but plan will be firm by 7am that morning) and wants to eat dust ... the count is at 2 so far.

I'm out, I've got to work. I almost could have made it in the truck but the stupid Hours Of Service laws say I have to wait until 9am to leave W'loo.

I'll honk as I drive past on the interstate.

I dunno, I just looked and it looks like it'll Edith pass over tonight or generally go north. I guess if it's raining in the am I'll drive over instead of ride.

Gah Joe, why do you have to do it Thurs? If you did it Friday I could make it as I have the day off. I've already taken the first part of the next week off for our anniversary trip to the twin cities or I'd try to take another day off for Thurs. Let me know if your plans change & you decide to go Friday instead.

good breakfast. That scooter was sweet. I am on the prowl for one as I write this. I will try to not take it off any sweet jumps though.

I'll get a trailer for the KLR so I can tow it in.

Glad everyone that could make it enjoyed it. Glad Chris suggested to start taking it to mom/pop places, their service, food & prices are usually all better than Perkins.

I never really saw the appeal of a moped, but after just riding this thing around the yard, I gotta say it's a hoot. I was pretty surprised that this thing will get up to 35 or so on flat ground w/ my fatt azz on it. Glad Chris talked me into it. And yes, I think we should get a little 'moped army' to take the area by storm. As I think Brian said, funny to be wearing a $600 coat on a $300 ride. Pretty hard to take your self too seriously on one of these things. I love it..

Hope everyone that was heading to the J&P open house had a good time, weather was definitely co-operating today.

Next breakfast in 2-3 weeks? How does 7/18 sound? Same bat time, same bat place?

The level B just east of Baldwin that heads North was not passable the last time I tried going up it a spring opened up at the top of the first hill.

... day ride

Thanks for the note Criag.
Josh, If you'd come over to work where I do (hint) you would have Thursday AND Friday off! The plan won't change ... already got plans for Friday.
Just drove North up C Avenue and they were scrapping a Harley up out of the ditch on the corner just before County Home Road. A lot of cop cars and investigation units, so I'm guessing the guy didn't come out of that one too good. Hope the rider was okay.
