wheelied it just now on the street. And no you can't ride it after seeing your "jump" on the video from the bike night! IT is going to be stripped down this weekend. It needs the carb cleaned bad (hence the wheelie) and it is going to end up a nice flat green color with white pinstriping. Wife is going to ride this one to school. I got it in des moines last night. 2 hours out and 2 hours back. I am tired.

Bike/scooter #2 is getting picked up tonight for even cheaper... (I am a cheap turd ask my wife) You guys will have to wait to see it though, I don't want to ruin the surprise. This one I am getting tonight will be mine. It will be a four stroke and an antiquity ( is that a word) The one I am getting tonight is almost as old as I am.

Damnit, that's more what I was looking for. Doh, shoulda put a wanted ad in DSM. Oh well.
We'll definitely have to have a scoot breakfast, nothing over 100cc allowed.

You laugh, but a guy I know from MI through the Subaru Forum races/raced scooters. Some of those guys are pretty fanatic about it. Not really my cup of tea, but looks like they have fun doing it.

Then here is the next project for me. As alluded to earlier today.

74 honda ct70 (minus the motor)

hopefully will get it running here in a few days with a motor I have on the bench.

just gotta get through this rough patch and then maybe end of next year I can start thinking about a bike again.

Definately not going the sportbike route again. Going to go back to something the wife can ride with me on since we are not going to be able to afford two bikes for us to ride for a good while.

Maybe back to a FJR, C-14 or maybe even something thats alot of fun around town......a new Gen II Vmax.
