Good thing you saw it first. For $200 I'd almost drive down there and pick it up.

Dibs! I'm going to try to get it for $150. I sent the guy an e-mail, but I wonder if I shouldn't have called...

I'm gonna keep an eye out for one too I think. Might be funny to roll into bike night in full leathers on an old yamaha QT or something.

Question Breakfast spot in the Quad Cities

Any Eastern Iowans want to hit Ross' Restaurant in Bettendorf for a Saturday morning breakfast run?

Re: the scooter, the guy hasn't got back to me and giving my landy $1100 for deposit and rent has cured me of moped fever. I relinquish my dibs

Painted the Zuma the wife actually picked black and gold?!?!??!!? huh. When I get the CT running I will wear leathers and scrape a knee pulling into breakfast.

The guy actually got back to me and I guess the thing won't run over 25 right now. I'd hope it's the carb but you never know...

same thing with the zuma, its either the variator, weights, or a carb issue. or needs a piston. most sub $200 too fix.

25 is prolly close to top speed anyway?? I know my 'hopper is 27 tops I think and I expect low 20's with me on it.

Get my parts for the 'hopper tonight and my forks for the KTM finally. Hope I am motivated to at least assemble the KTM tonight as the rest of my week is booked and weekend riding is looking slim too

My buddy was real big into the Yama Scoots when he was younger. I rememeber him saying that the trick setup was something to do with PW parts and Yama Chopper parts. I think a 2-Speed tranny from the 'chopper and the engine from the PW. With that I guess making it already faster, then the PW had bolt on big bore kits! Not totally sure on the setup, so I'll ask him and repost the correct info.

Yeah it wouldn't have been a big deal to fix, but I envision my $200 scooter becoming a $600 scooter pretty fast. I think I will just buy that clutch for the Magna

Little far of a ride for breakfast but Ross's is freaking awesome for breakfast. Magic mountain FTW.
