Well...Slight change in plans.... I'm still gonna head north riding/camping, but it's gonna be about 2 weeks from now instead of now....

Well the klx is officially under the knife....
New fenders, brakes, headlight, 300cc jug, and fcr35 are all going on this the bike this weekend. Wish me luck Suprisingly I mounted my new tires on my rims today without a single scratch using just tire spoons. Hopefully this is a sign of more good things to come Maybe i'll throw up some pics of the bike later tonight or tomorrow.

hell yeah awesome! did you get some bark busters yet? what tires did you go with? i'm thinking about going with some 50/50 tires since i ride on the street alot, i've been getting better at sliding the bike around and i'm tearing side lugs off. i'm just not too sure if i want to give up any thing at all off-road cause that the shit i really have fun on.
Edit: mine was under the knife last weekend a bit as well ![]() fastest cam removal and reinstall you've ever seen llol ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Barkbusters are on backorder but they should be here sometime in the next few weeks.
Here's a quick pic of the new shoes for the klx. For tires I just went with the stock drz sm tires (dunlop d208 f+r) I was thinking of getting some pilot powers but didn't want to chew through em. These should last me a lot longer. I cant wait to see it whens its all finished and put back together. It should look good with the sm fenders and black plastics

Rich
I got the next couple sundays off, I think. I gotta check the wife's "Duty Roster" to make sure my name does Not have a scheduled detail attached. I should be good to two wheel.

Anyone know of a good auto upholstry shop or good with a staple gun? I just got a new seat cover for my bike but don't have a staple gun to put it on with. Should be like a 10 min job for somebody in the business. Any recommendations or anyone willing to lend a hand?
