Many people slow down and drive more carefully when they see black and white bikes in California, not sure why...
Get some blue & red led lights and add to the slowing down and carefullness of California drivers

Thanks. They are Touratech Zegas. I had them powder coated mostly to keep the black stuff off of my clothes, but with the added benefit of looking cool.

fellas, i've been lurking this thread for a while now, and its mos def helped me to conclude that a gs800 is the bike for me. its sold me wife as well, which is awesome. the climate of this thread seems quite noob question friendly, so i'll throw this out there...
i've looked at other threads on the subject of this bike, and theres lots of reviews. the thing is that there's 2 gs800s' in my local shop, but they don't have anti lock brakes. but they do have 3.9% financing. whereas the 2010s' have 6% financing, and whatever else i want to add on the bike.
the financing really isn't much of a big deal, but i am wondering if i should wait to have the anti lock option. is it a must have? i assume the bashguards and the panniers, onboard computer, are must haves.... but thoughts overall? a PM would be great if yall feel its a thread jacking.

My opinion on this is:

Anti-lock brakes compensate for when you fail to brake perfectly in an emergency.

I'd recommend getting one with ABS.

+1 on ABS.

Panniers are very expensive, and there are other options for luggage, so I wouldn't consider them must haves.

I specifically ordered one without ABS. Didn't want it, never had it, and I don't miss it.

Hey Frank, I lived in Ringwood when I was a kid, moved when I was 12.

I don't miss the snow, but much better riding than down here.

I have tried and tried to upload pics (jpg) but for some reason I really suck at it. The file is the right size I just continually get an error that says it is unable to upload the file. Any help
