Did the loop this evening. Trails are in really nice shape. Here are some pics of the mudhole where there are usually deep water holes. Dry today. The wetest spot was at mile8. Less than a foot (upto my front brake calliper).
Lots of hikers who were all very freindly. I havn't seen the trails this nice in a long time. Did 58 miles.

Hey, at least you know there's always a few hundered CCs of fresh oil in there.

By the way RhodeHazard, welcome to club orange. I'll let you borrow my sign when the time comes but I'll have you know that the median strip at the stoplight in front of Walmart in Milford is my territory. Since you're from Rhode Island we shouldn't have any problems, but there must be more KTM owners in RI than traffic lights because I've had a few Islanders come down and try to push me off my beat. One guy even went as far as to claim to be a member of some Rhody Hoovers club or some such name. I told him "Fuck off, that president has long been dead" and kicked him to the curb.

Actually disassembly, cleaning, inspection and then assembly..

When I get it going, ya might not want to get too close behind me, or in front of me.. Hell, just keep a 100ft buffer around me and you should be ok.

For those not up to speed, Popeye gave to me for a song. The major problem with it is that the shifting mechanism needs work. I was hoping to get into it tonight. He says the top end is good. After I get the beast running and shifting, I have to go through it and replace the controls and 25 year old tires. Stuff like that. No big deal, I hope.

Maybe we'll actually get some ice next year and I can get this on a lake. This kind of horse needs room to run.
