I am looking at a ride in a couple of weeks up to my parents in Western PA, and I was looking at US 33 across to I79. I have done 33 across to 220 and I want to know what it is like from there an across. Thanks for any info.

Rt33 to I79 is pretty much a 4 lane divided highway from Elkins. If you are in the mood for less superslab, there are several smaller roads headed north, US92 comes to mind. You can take it till it meets Rt7 and head west to Morgantown and pickup I79 there. Not much traffic and free of coal trucks.
A couple of handy sites http://wvmountainrider.com/index.aspx http://www.chicken-run.net/chickroads.html Enjoy! sekalilagi screwed with this post 08-05-2008 at 09:05 AM |
