On the way back I may have found the trails you mentioned...on Card Sound Road. I checked 'em out for a few minutes - there seem to be many, many trails...definitely need to make a trip to check them all out!

Getting ready to hit the ramp...

I saw a Bentley and a limo pull out at one point so I checked out the road they came from. There were three or four interesting homes...this one is pretty big, huge pool, terrible colors!

I stopped off for a short break and a pic at a public boat "ramp." I got some funny looks (ATGATT) from everyone launching their waverunners.

So what's up for next weekend?

Wifey has all day activities Saturday & Sunday...so, I need something to do.

Funny you say that, I was at a park on a lake somewhere off 50, I was so hot I jumped in the lake fully clothed.
The waverunner riders there looked kinda scared.
Half an hour later I stopped to put on my rain suit I was dry.

my bike should be ready to go. looking to either do some good exploring or hard riding. long trips for me are pretty much out since i'm on a tagged E model. if i had a bigger tire like i used to the rpm's aren't bad on the highway.

Any interest in meeting on Card Sound Road to investigate the dirt trails? I have no idea how many there are but there appeared to be several miles of it. Not sure how exciting it'll be...but would be fun to explore.

Card Sound Road

This is an alternate road for getting to the Keys (as opposed to US1).

I have ridden all over there and it is a neat way to get into FL City and get to the Racetrack. It used to be possible to get on that road near the cooling area of Turkey Point, but since 9/11 that has been closed off and is guarded...

It isn't like Holey Lands, but entertaining for while with some deep mud puddles to get soaked in...

Sanjoh and Sanpau made it back to S FL...

.....We had an awesome summer adventure.....Hope to share some stories at the Scrub and when we see all of you again. 9400 miles in 63 days.
Now I have to get ready for school....bummer.......
