Sunday Ride!!!!!!

Been way to long off the bike!!!! Finally got into the new house and its functionally organized!! I need some seat time, so who is up for a Sunday ride? Meet at Holiday Park by 0900 and go from there? I don't care if its street or the riding the levees, or Janes, or Loop ( which off road would be my choice), but I need a ride! I will be there, if you can make it, well then, I will see ya there!!!

If your going out on janes drive be aware it is very wet out there. Went there last Sunay with Trubrit, had a blast, normal gators, dear etc. but he normal puddles are now big water crossings. Great fun just be prepared.

Thanks!! Would like to get out that way, but not up for a big adventure through huge water crossing. Just have to scope it out if I make it out that way!! Most likely will end up running the canals to Clewiston. If I go it alone I will probably work from Clewiston down to I-75 and then 29 towards Janes and then Tamiami Trail back and maybe loop road.

I was hoping to meet peeps at Holiday Park and then go up 27 to Miami Canal Road and work the way to Clewiston. I would also be up for exploring done some of the dead end roads along the way. I was thinking about heading west and south after Clewiston to get to Tamiami Trail and run loop road, but heading down to the reservation and came back the other way into Holeylands is fine also.

Fl Pepper, Rub-a-Dub , Fl Rider and Sanpau waited at the park until 9:40ish and then hit the levees to Clewiston out to lunch and then back down Snake road and home again....Great day with great friends.....

Have a great week everyone!

Sure was a great day to ride SanPau!! Thanks for you guys being out there, been too long since I have ridden with you guys. FLPeppers directions were dead on, after I left you guys I hooked with Immokolee road right where she said it would be. Made my way to Jane's Scenic Drive and then made it out to the Squares. Janes was a good ride, saw the tree that blocked the road for you and Rub-a- Dub!! There was some water between the end of the park and Stewart Blvd, but nothing real bad. Went west out Stewart Blvd into the squares for a mile or so, but the water crossings kept getting longer and longer and more frequent, so with no SPOT and by myself I felt it best to turn back. Plus it was 3pm, so not much daylight left to get home!! Ran in Pirate Treasure on the way back, he took a pic of our chance meeting, my camera was dead !!! Ended up about 330 miles round trip for me today!! It was a good ride and like you said, it was shared with good friends!!!

Woulda rode with yall today but i had to get home by 12ish .I got out early to ride loop road,i did come back east on the levee from 40 mile bend to 4-corners .The road construction there on 41 had a speed limit of 50 the levee 60+ some +++ .Anyhow a couple pics ,the first is of a couple spooked turkey hens,They were on the side of the road about 1/8 from a group of hunters camping out There was some big gators on the road, they just wouldnt pose.Their building alot of culverts on the road i hope they dont pave it anytime soon

In the middle of nowhere, (in this case, about 10 miles into the Fakahatchee Strand on Janes Scenic Drive) you never know who you're going to meet!
FlaRider1, it was great meeting you today, just checked out your RR on the Deadhorse trip, looks like it was an amazing trip.

No worries about blocking traffic out here...
