Question Loop Road - repaired?

It's been quite awhile since I've been on Loop Road. I read that repairs have been made.
Last yr--the paved section coming off of the Trail was fine. The unpaved section (south of Monroe Station) was a little rough at times.
Does anyone know what section (paved or unpaved, or both ? ) was repaired?
thx
barry

Barry, its kinda like it always was, cept they'er puttin in a lot of culverts to improve water flow north to south. I here from some that theres a road closed sign on the east side,im usually fiddling with my steering damper at that point and haven't noticed it

So Fla Dual Sport Rides

Hello everyone. I recently transfered to south florida and am looking to hook up with Adv Riders to explore the area on dual sports. I would normally head for the hills to find the ADV Riders, but cant seem to find any hills around here. Is there a local DS group or a meeting place? I'll be happy to pay for the first round!

Thanks

Hi El Santo!

A lot of us used to meet up on Sunday mornings at Holiday Park, west side of US 27 and Griffin Rd. Then we figure out a ride route/ destination and head out. I haven't been doing the Sunday mornings for a while now so not sure if that's still a meet up place. Maybe someone else can chime in?

It's still the default meeting place for lack of anything better.

Thanks, that's practically in my backyard! I've actually been there on my streetbike, but have only seen Harleys and Sportbikes. Does the DS crew meet at a particular time on Sundays? I'm defenitely up for a ride this weekend, Staurday or Sunday...as stated before, I'll pay the first round (post ride).

Welcome---- I would love to ride Sunday but it has to be a little later in the day. I have to drop someone off at the Miami airport around 8:30 a.m. so could be back and out at the park by 10:30/11:00 ish......
What do you think FL Pepper, Rub -a-Dub-Clark-Kenski- Speedracer?
TeeVee have we ridden with you before? The Vstrom is fine for the levees as long as you don't mind a little dirt on your bike. I second your opinion about the sand....
We could check out loop road.....
Some of the beemer folks are at the rally in north/central florida this weekend. Chit-Chat

Have not joined you folks yet. I'm fine with leaving around 11. Haven't had the V off road yet so look forward to some very mild stuff. And I absolutely don't mind gettin her dirty!

. I haven't been there since either. That's been awhile.

Hi TV, long time no see . Your strom will be fine on the levees or the roads off 41.

We'll most likely make an appearance late Sunday morning and decide from there.
