59 species of eagles, 4 main groups.

At the motorcyle show, I saw the bird on the Guzzi and then glanced over at the Harley bikes and my curiosity started.

After a quick internet search, it seems that Guzzi is most likely golden eagle and Harley is the bald eagle.

Tidibit: In Greece the golden eagle will drop a turtle from the sky to break it's shell and have lunch.

I distinctly remember riding my '72 Eldorado through a farmer's hay field, circa November 1980, up a grassy ridge and wheelying over the crest.

Throttle slides on twisty gravel roads were a no-brainer.

Those are great bikes.

Man... I wouldn't let that go! It would definitely be worth the cost of having that restored and re-chromed! Expensive? Certainly but where ya gonna find another one of those?

If I wasn't so Airheaded, I'd get me one of those!

Most of the chrome has cleaned up very well, the pipes and mufflers are shot and the tank sides leave alot to be desired. Airheaded? Hell, I had the Ohio Airhead with me, and two boxes of Airmails.

Nice score! Just watched Magnum Force again yesterday and the cop bikes they use appear to be Ambassadors. Until they need to make jumps near the end, then they switch to Triumphs.

BTW, I thought Guzzis were airheads!

There's a near identical one in my neck of the woods... but add a 0 to the price tag.

I very much wish to find a $500 Guzzi one of these days.

Ben wanted the wild Turkey, not the turkey vulture...he thought the wild turkey a noble bird.

Although, if I am ever re-incarnated, a turkey vulture wouldn't be to bad a thing to be....perform a needed function in nature, plenty to eat, nobody hunting you to extinction, no real natural predators to worry about, immune to most diseases, other vultures don't care if your ugly and stink..and best of all, you could fly!

Now, a bottle of Wild Turkey and some awesome Guzzi pics, that will do nicely for the time being....

I have about the only Guzzi in my county. A guy called with a 72 Ambassador that he say's is "bored out". Where can he send the cylinders to get them fitted with pistons? Thanks.....
