Half way through the ride we stopped just past Kalkan at one of these,

where the temperature inside was on the high side, captured by Dirk.

One of the owners had one of these,

which I thought was quite aptly named.

I tried to hide my true feelings!

By the way, the toilets were over the cliff

.

Gert and Liesbeth, from Belgium. came to town on their way to Nepal. We put in a training session for their forthcoming adventure. We popped up to Gombe along with our resident photographer

to check out the roads/tracks.

A photo op at Gombe reservoir was a must

Anyone seen the crazy German?

The wind whistles down this valley and erodes the rocks causing strange formations. This one resembles the crazy German. How wierd is that

Prior to departure my bike needed some TLC. The front sprocket drive nut was in danger of boring a hole in my left ankle. The gear lever refused to lever. Better go see Mehmet then
