Now that is a sweet setup. Need to sell mine then go after one of these. Direwolf, I'm looking for something a little bigger, at least at 520, 525, 530, or Husky 610.

This is simply the greatest adventure bike ever made. I've used this bike for commuting, trips and dual sport riding. Since I purchased this bike a few years ago I've made a few modifications to lighten the bike and make it perform better off road as well as on. I have also completed all the routine maintenance including water pump rebuild, full synthetic oil changes every 3000 miles and valve inspections / adjustments at 20,000, 26,000, 28,000 and 35,000 miles. I've run this bike on the dyno a couple of times to make sure I got the carburetor jetting dialed in.
1. Recluse centrifugal auto- clutch
2. Adventure spec skid plate with tool pouch
3. 2 into 1 exhaust, with a Remus Carbon muffler(plus stock exhaust)
4. Cycra hand guards with dual sport mirrors
5. Enduro LED tail light ( plus spare stock tail light)
6. Wider than stock foot pegs
7. Touratech rear master cylinder guard
8. Touratech glove box lock
9. Factory Hepco and Becker luggage
10. Touratech rear luggage rack
11. Touratech tank bag
12. Factory crash bars
13. Tall and cut down windscreens
14. High and low front fenders
15. 16 tooth front sprocket, plus stock 17 tooth sprocket
16. Aftermarket radiator guard
17. Handle bar risers
18. Stable air horn( or factory horn)
19. Heated grips
20. Ram GPS mount and power outlets

No that would be a waste. I have several 'well used' ones that would suit that purpose better. They are the Oval ones though (would suit an ex-spouse/boss head shape better maybe).

Someone decide they want this, it's been in the trunk of my car too long (never did try to return it to the store) and I know you FF's could use one (if in doubt ask you spouse). You can PM me if you are too ashamed to ask, I promise not to publish your desperate need for this fine object.

See Applejam for toilet seat. I bet he'd pay for one on any of our camping trips. LOL

FS: 2 Nokia Hakkapiilleta NR 09 Studded Snow Tires

With snow occasionally falling, this seemed like a good time to get these things out of my garage. Hopefully they can help someone out.

I have a pair of Nokia Hakkapiilleta NR 09 studded snow tires hanging out in the garage. These are like the best brand and model of studded snow tires available. They are 165 SR 15 sized tires. I used to use these (along with 2 others that were trash) on my Saab 900 and then later on my Jetta on the cold icy roads of winter in Eastern WA. They were not really the right size for the Jetta and studs seemed a bit like overkill once I moved over here to Western WA so I bought some new Michelin X Ice stud-less tires for winter use now. Anyway, these 2 are like new and need to go. I am not willing to ship them so local pick up in Everett only. I know they are dirty and have some rust on them but they are snow tires. I am sure they will clean right up. They have no defects that I know of.

I would like to get $20 each for them. (sold as a pair only)

Here are too many pictures:

Thanks!

This really is a sweet set up. I think they dropped me on my head as a baby. That's the only explenation for why I'm selling this thing. It makes a great touring bike, canyon carver or you can use it to dig trenches with the back tire

F650GS Seat want to trade

I've got the factory tall seat / Dakar seat off a 2005 BMW F650 and am looking to exchange it with someone who has a low seat. This seat is very comfortabe, but it's a little tall for me.

How many actual miles are on the thing? Valve adjust at 36K? She hasn't been a garage queen. Sounds well sorted out though.

I've owned this bike since it had 21,000 miles, and at 36,000 miles it starts, runs, and shifts better than new. Most of the milage I've put in is from weekend trips and comuting. I kind like to improve and evolve any motorcycles I own, make each one a never ending project. Part of my motivation ot sell is i've run out of mods I can make.
Come check it out.
