I've already got one that I use to hose off my bike after muddy MTB rides. I figure some of you dirt bike guys could use it for the same thing. Or you could put out a fire, or you SO can use it to play swords with you (she would likely win)

Price: 6 pack of GOOD beer, or equivalent at Engles one Thursday.
Local Pickup only
Damnit... I been wanting one of those for a long time. Wish I was closer...

Cascade GPS sells extermal antenna's that increases signal reception stregnth of the GPS unit from 16dB to 28dB... I've been running one for a few years... the brand name is Gilsson and I think they run something like $18.50

FS: Vanson Riding Jacket (size 50)Model AR2

FS: Vanson Riding Jacket (size 50)Model AR2
Mens Vanson full weight leather (hand made) riding jacket is in very good condition. Features: Full-length action back and dipped in the back to keep the wind out. Full-length wind flap behind front zipper. Zippered cuffs. Vanson embroidered logo on right chest, hand pockets, chest pocket, inside wallet pocket, rayon lining, snap back mandarin collar, brass zippers and hardware
This is a timeless piece and I hate to let it go, but it is two sizes too big for me. It is broken in and shows some minor scuffs. There slight fraying of the liner at the collar, but this cannot be seen when the jacket is on.

This jacket retails for about $540.00. Asking $175.00, this includes UPS ground shipping (continental USA only). Terms: Certified check, or money order to me by regular mail. Upon receipt I will ship (UPS ground) and email the buyer a tracking number. Pictures available on request.
Price: Asking $175.00
Location: Eugene Oregon USA

See more here: http://www.vansonleathers.com/produc...ar_model_a.htm

If interested email me at: pfitzhar@uoregon.edu or PM me here...email works best.

high mileage - with crash damage

see the high mileage

I apologize but I'm actually a lying POS. the odometer reads 283. (kilometers)

see the crash damage here:

look close - the nubbin is missing from the turn signal control

other pics here http://spowers.smugmug.com/gallery/2...10350608_ZL7bB

I'm selling it because:
- I don't ride it
- it isn't street legal, w/ no easy way to make it so in WA
- it's kick start on the left side
- it's taking up space in the garage
- I want something else

It is a hoot to ride. Not terribly heavy, a goodly amount of power and 6 speed gearbox.

I'll be putting into Ride West's Bike Swap on 3/27 if it doesn't sell here.

Steve

What prevents this from being street legal in WA? It looks like it has signals, speedo, hi/lo headlight . . . .

besides the government? not much

I chatted with the folks at the DMV. Basically they look at manufacturers statement of origin, e.g. your title. If it says OFFROAD USE, then you won't get a title unless:
  • you plate it elsewhere and bring it in (new title)
  • you replace the headtube w/ new one with VIN number from legal (and titled) bike
  • build a custom frame, get it inspected and get a VIN issued
  • or some combination of the above
I've considered them all but haven't the energy to pursue.
