I apologize but I'm actually a lying POS. the odometer reads 283. (kilometers)

see the crash damage here:

look close - the nubbin is missing from the turn signal control

other pics here http://spowers.smugmug.com/gallery/2...10350608_ZL7bB

I'm selling it because:
- I don't ride it
- it isn't street legal, w/ no easy way to make it so in WA
- it's kick start on the left side
- it's taking up space in the garage
- I want something else

It is a hoot to ride. Not terribly heavy, a goodly amount of power and 6 speed gearbox.

I'll be putting into Ride West's Bike Swap on 3/27 if it doesn't sell here.

Steve

Howdy All,

I want to install a set of KLR handle bars on my older Ural ( you can laugh now ) to do this I need a set of 7/8 diameter handle bar risers, the stock risers on the Ural are just under and inch in diameter. If you have something you think will work please PM me. Thanks.

That bike for sure would qualify as a dual sport..but if the title is branded "off road use only" you are screwed. He mentioned the mso says Off road use..but is it titled the same?

My plated XR is by no means a dual sport by comparison, as many will see at raindogs...but the title was not branded in anyway..so although the vin comes back as a dirt bike...the title doesn't make that distinction.

I really don't understand this bs that people have to go though to plate a bike. My opinion is if you have the necessary safety equipment..than it is fine.

Its bs that a 1970 CT70 mini-bike is fine with a plate, but SP's obvious dual sport legal motorcycle is not. Just boggles the mind.

Does anyone have any aftermarket pegs laying around that will fit a V-Strom? Supposedly anything that fits a KLR will bolt right on too.

You know there are some cheap aftermarket ones- they cost like $27 for the set, right?
