First Service
I had to haul her to the dealership for first service. I got her in December of 2005 and had 700 miles on her by Feb. 1.
When I got there, the engine was definitely cold for valve adjustments! Since then I've been doing a lot of my own wrenching on it. (got sick of waking up at 4:00am on Saturdays to get it trailered to the dealership 150 miles away...) ![]() Cheers!

![]() Stuffing my new to me Ural in my catering trailer minutes after I bought it. With zero three wheel experience and 4th of July hours away I trailered it. I was not going to be AWOL from home, wife and daughter on the 4th. Not to mention it was 165 miles over a mountain pass from home in the dark. My 3 wheel learners permit does not permit passengers or night driving.

![]() From L to R: My KTM 620, Mr. Ray's DR650, PackMule's KLR250 on the way to the Berkshire Trailriders DS ride. PackMule was meeting us there and Mr. Ray's DR needed more wrenching at the campsite before it would be rideable. ![]() Here's one from a long time ago. Both KTMs, mine is the 350 (290) with the blue seat and the red is my friend's 250 (waving). ![]() A little more recent than the last one, still in California. A KLX250 and an XR250 heading out to El Mirage. |

I don't tow no trailer.
Done a few trips down to the States this way. Have to take other toys and the dog ya know.
Besides, this way I get to sleep right next to my Italian beauty. ![]() It's a Dodge Grand Caravan. Futilely trying to change the image of a minivan driver. ![]()
