So he did it. He got an ADV sticker into outerspace. Too cool. I lost track of his thread.
Awesome pics, gaspipe. Thanks for posting them up. Greatly enjoying this area of the Earth, Mark H. |

Sorry, no pic of a trailered bike, but I need one for an adventure I have in mind. Want to do Death Valley Days one of these years, but I ain't gonna be riding my bike out of Montana in January. So a trailer is gonna be the begining of that ADVenture.

Somecallmetim and I "trailered" the KLX250s up to the UP for Cannontrek III.
On the way back I ran out of gas. Tim drained some from his bike so I could get the truck to a gas station.

Taking a Baja Virgin from Tucson. Enter at Tecate, Hummm, 360 miles each way, air conditoned truck, 90 mph cruise speed on the HP with a KLR hoplessley behind, Fresh Knobbies, yah, I'm a pussy. Returned 10 days later to driving rain and gale-force winds in Jacumba. Gee, I wish I could have riddden home on I-10/I-8 that night.

We dicided to go to Loadedpalooza in 2005, but dirtdoggie(Doug) wanted to leave a few days earlier to ride his SV650 across Canada to Vancouver, BC. My buddy Dave and I used his motorhome to haul three KTMs there where Doug would meet us. On the way back, we had 3 KTM 640's and the SV on the same little trailer. Still can't remember how we pulled that one off.

Yeah, sometimes vans are handy
When you're pressed for time 2 guys on dirtbikes are no match for the same 2 guys driving a van.
