This ones tinged with sadness. This is my mate Dermot who died last Friday. He's sitting on another friends bike. Joe treated himself for his 50th birthday, one hell of a bike and so stunning when you stand next to it.

Hi there,

Here is my guzzi v50 nato. It's an ex dutch army bike. It is technically in top condition. It now has about 10000 km on the counter and I bought it at around 4000 km. Sadly however it is for sale now because I now ride a BMW R80 GSPD. The guzzi was a little to light for me.

Once I want to own a really old guzzi, a v7 or v7 sport or something.

You can find some more pics of my guzzi's here. http://picasaweb.google.com/Jsteegh/...27610416636418
The black one you can see there is also an v50 III which I sold a couple of months ago. I'll see if I can find a picture where it was finished.

I found some pictures of the other guzzi. The only things not quite finnished were the seat and the mirrors. Everything on that bike we did ourselves, the technical stuf, the cleaning, the glass blasting, painting etc. Exept for the powder coating of the frame and the wheels (which was already done when we bought it).

Ben Part, builder of the Zagato Guzzi, produces a very interesting, very beautiful, very focused go-left dirt-trackin magazine called Sideburn. Publishing partner and old-school streetfigher Gary Inman also runs a home-made, hand-built special...

Rob,

No need to apologize. You didn't put a downer on this thread at all. God speed to your buddy.
