Nice tag Frank...Not hard to figure out either..I am fascinated by your career as a Pilot of those huge boats...I always see one going up the Hudson when I cross at theBear Mtn Bridge...and much to my amazement the ship/barge is moving along at a good clip against the current...I'm sure that current helps slow you down too...

IMHO brucing is half the fun. i got stuck last night and had to ride 20 minutes to a computer.... no big deal.
If little Iron could post from the phone onsite the tag would have been ours but the duck was gone
First to post how ever you can do it

& just to add my 2 cents to is the Duc the tag debate. I can not upload on site & I dont think I was going to find a Library open in Sussex co at 11:00 pm
I rushed to the tag & once I got the Duc I had time to enjoy the ride home & stop for a new taq. If I was bruced & also would have known it & could have enjoyed the ride home.
Without the Duc I would have rushed home to post & would not have been able to post a new tag till after I got off work tomorrow.
I see the potential for a lot less time waiting for a tag if the Duc is the tag.

Got it!

I thoroughly appologize for the very low quality of the mobile phone photos. My Coolpix seems to have been afflicted by the dead battery bug so common to this game. New tag after work. Be prepared to go North.

And for those who are going to " where's the bike?" , the Duc is sitting on it. Hard to recall all the rules so early in the morning.

you can tote the duck around but as far as i'm concerned rule 1 is still rule 1 and i will play it like every other state plays it. the race is the race, coming and going. besides, the mascot only benifits 1 player. no one knows its got untill the photo is posted.

I totally agree Sallydog.

It would be one thing if the game was played with an object & all the other games were played like that from inception, or close to it......but it's too late to change such a fundamental part of the game.

who is the player who entered the game after 400 tags and decided it didnt work? the most sucessfull tag game and largest thread in Northeast....
i've checked the other TOR threads and i dont see any that require a mascot to "win" the tag.

the duck

Patrick has given his permission to use his duck for a trial period, if the group would like to try it.

Without changing any rules, the person who finds the mascot should try and post his photo as soon as possible with the mascot. If someone else posts before him, that person still gets the tag, if he/she wants it. Simple.

But if the first tagger to post does so with the duck, Patrick's mascot can keep going to neat places.

Please, though, no more child molestation. Redpower was taking the duck out at night, past it's bedtime, into the woods (for God knows what kind of shenanigans!) and even to BARS! That would be a DYFS violation!

Let's continue to have fun with the best tag game on the East Coast. And SallyDog makes the rules. If you don't want to use the mascot, then it would be nice to return it to Patrick.

DUCKS, FULL OUTDOOR TANNING CLUBS, AND PATRIOTIC ARMY TANKS

What's this thread coming too ?

I liked the Tank.

The tanning club could be a little risque.
Speaking of Risque. Here is a Risque Picture of my bike.

Gotta keep this thread clean you know.

As far as the duck.
Now I have to photoshop a duck into my pictures.
Oh the work you guys put me through !
What kind of free time do you think I have.

I agree with sallydog.
Keep Rule#1 pure and simple.
A mascot just gets too complicated.
Just look at the North American TOR.
They had 3 going at one time. (Including that duck!)

It does add some more life to the pictures, tags and twitter, but I don't think it should be a part of the game.
Have fun with it.

That's my $.02 and keep the change.
