Just a reminder from this Texan-GW Bush was a very good Governor. Now I wonder how he will rate as President. I wish all good for your Governor/VP Candidiate. Should be interesting, just hope it does not look like a desperate effort to stop the bleeding... They have my vote.

Think you will find most in Alaska like her. She has an approval rating of around 80%. We are a pretty conservative state.

It is understandable that people in states who lean to the left will be against her. I don't look at that as a bad thing. In fact it would make me nervous if for some reason they liked her.

I do think she will attract those people setting on the fence.

No one was more excited than my wife, who is EXTREMELY politically conservative. I was stationed at Ft. Rich for three years, (why I moved away when I ETS'd I'll never understand) and we both have been up several times since I left. The wife became a big Palin fan when she read about her life and rise to Gov. in Alaska mag a few months ago. I think she has a girl crush!
