Anyway, if that's what it takes to shake someone into picking up the tag in under a week, I'd do it.
You know, the last two VA tags stood for just under 1 and just over 6 hours, respectively!
If it hasn't been tagged by Sunday, I'll be there. If I lived closer, I would have gone over yesterday.

The number was sufficient. No need for, but certainly appreciated, the bloody hint....the Clara Barton National Historic Site in Glen Echo.

Here is the next tag...and the weather forecast looks good for tomorrow...

While the exposure may be a bit washed out or lacking color, the picture should be large enough so that no additional clues are needed.

Well...the plan was to go get it this a.m., but I overslept thru my allowable time. Got a little more then 3/4 of the way there and then realized if I went any further I wouldn't make it back in time to take my son to see santa.
Good luck gettin' the tag if anyone goes after it today..gorgeous day to get it and plant a new one. Crappy part of it all was that I had the perfect "xmas" spot picked out to set the new one. Oh well...maybe I'll still have time if I grab the next one.

I know where this one is, I was planning on going for a hike in this area earlier this year actually. I might go monday if I have time and its not tagged yet.

I have absolutely NO idea where this is, which is a damn shame because I have today and tomorrow off.

It seems to me that this pic might be a little too lacking in detail to figure out, for those who haven't been there before.

Also, be careful of the permanent speed cameras on the route to and from this tag.

Had no clue bout the speed cameras...have a bit of a heavy wrist through that area in the past....glad I didn't make it down there today. In the rush that I was in, another ticket due to tag is just what I don't need.

I think Code and FWIW did a good job providing additional hints. I GENERALly tried to get there EARLY on Saturday so that someone could get to the tag later in the day or Sunday.

I posted a higher res picture so it could be identified by a few more folks. It can be found at http://www.croydoncreek.com/temp/IMG_3304.JPG

As for the speed cams. The cameras are not hidden and they are in an area where the speed limit is 25 or 30. There are also stripes on the ground next to the cameras.

OK, I'm waiting to hear back from a guy selling a KLR in VA, so I probably won't be able to get this. Unless I go get the KLR today and trailer it over to where the tag is
