Thanks to ACL and Kevin- I emailed and got a response in a couple of minutes. Sent a PayPal payment and got a response and notification that my thumbscrews will be shipped today. Can't ask for better customer service!

Okay, so what's the trick to getting the OEM security screw out so I can put this baby in the hole?

There is a little O ring that keeps it from popping out. Try to get under the screw with a little screwdriver and press up while turning the screw out. Keep track of that little O ring for re-use.

Insert the new thumbscrew (O rings come with the new ones from Kevin) and get the little O ring back on the bottom as you turn the screw in. Fiddly, but not too bad. Really small screwdrivers help, and you do need to use the Garmin security screwdriver they gave you with the zumo mount.

I ordered 1 about 10 days ago, sent paypal, but have not heard a word. No reason to beleive there should be any issue, just assumed I would have gotten some type of confirmation, that he received the payment at least.

No, I did not, assumed the email message that's associated with paypal would have been enough.....perhaps my oversight, not worried, just wondering. Saw the link on the ST forums, and did not want to register on the forum, just to send him a PM. I just emailed him, so I expect, based on everyone's feedback, he'll take care of it.

When I received the 5 Zumo security screws I ordered from Kevin, I was short one o-ring.

I notified him about the shortfall immediately.

Well today in the mail.........I received the missing o-ring along with 2 spares.

I just wanted everyone to know what a stand up vendor Kevin is!
