I have been thinking that even though KTM has named a model SMT, maybe that should be the official classification for these tall streetbikes with a 17" front wheel?

Wink

You sure it's not Ducati's answer to the Versys?

Is the swingam mounted in the frame as well as the engine cases?

I see some of the Ducati's look to include a swingarm mounting / tie in to the frame?

Well, it's not their proudest design moment, but next to my Strom or a TDM it's well....pleasant.

That freakish monstrosity in the OP just looks all kinds of fucked up.

Ahh you guys suck, I was hoping for new pictures.

I think it looks cool...much better than the Multistrada, which is one of the ugliest modern bikes on the road.

Is it possible that they wrapped the front finder to hide the design? they do it all the time when testing out new cars.

I think it's a small rider haha! Does look quite funny though!

There was something in MCN about this at the end of Jan (Link)
They say BMW GS rival (OK, maybe normal not GSA), I'm thinking more Triumph Tiger rival with those alloy wheels and road looking styling etc.

Sure that isn't the next gen. UglyStrada (hey, I can say that, I own one)? Looks like 17" wheels & more street-based then a true Adventure tourer.

I think that rider would be more suited to riding a racehorse!
