Very nice pic, and nice form! Any more lean and you'll need elbow sliders.

Loved the video too. Too bad about the vibes. I had this on a GoPro and solved it by adding a small piece of tape in the mount.
Do not under any circumstances get rid of your MM. if you want a MS so bad get rid of something else instead. I miss mine so much it kills me every time I walk into the garage. My new TB GS is making me feel a bit better but there will never be another boxer like the MM!!!!!!!

My MS1200 Corse Carbon Fiber edition

I thought I would post some pics of what I've done with a few of the Pikes Peak body panels and lots of CF stuff. I love the PP but think this is more subtle and tasteful then the PP which has a bit too much red for my liking. What do you guys think?

How do they compare? I know the MTS is 30 kg heavier, but I guess the 35 hp extra makes up for it. As I use my MM for SPORTtouring I can see the MTS being a little better on the touring bit. I could even persuade my wife to spend a few hours on the pillion :-)

The MS will be a much better sport touring machine but the MM is just such a special bike that you will never be able to obtain again.

This is the first pic of one that popped up in a search. I've never ridden one but have heard they are great fun.

Bike looks killer. I just picked up a PP last Saturday and looking at accessories. What did you replace the carbon screen with and how do you like it? Also how is the Termi? Sounds like some guys aren't happy with the map but maybe Ducati are doing a reflash??? I'm going to make a change so it sounds like it should but still studying options. Do you run the baffle?

Carmen,
This is not a PP bike. My bike was purchased in 2010. I loved the PP look so I just added some of the PP body panels to a regular MS1200S sport model. Also a bunch of CF bits on top of what the bike already came with. The full Termi is very nice. The baffle that the Termi comes with is crap and it actually makes an annoying whistling sound on deceleration. When I took the baffle out it was way too loud for my tastes. I had a custom baffle fabricated by a guy in CA. The noise level now slots right between the stock exhaust and the Termi and the whistle is gone. The screen is the shorty MRA black screen. I like if a lot but I'm adding the PP CF screen as its more flush with the front of the bike and blends in a bit better.

That bike is stunning! I'm not crazy about the red frame on the PP, but I love yours. Did you notice any issues with your fuel tank while changing the panels (hard to get them off or reinstall?)?

Hey Fixinbones, It didn't dawn on me until after I got to looking at the frame that you converted a regular S. It really does look nice. Thanks for the feedback on the Termi. I would appreciate the name of who made your baffle either on line or PM me. When I got a set of Remus cans for my old ST4S the vendor in CA had some baffles made for me but I don't know who did it. I'm still seeing complaints about the low speed drivability with the DP ECU but maybe they are working that out and will provide a reflash.

You bet. Getting them off was a bitch!!!!!! The fuel tank has some female nuts that appear to be pressed into some pre-contoured recesses to receive the bolts that hold the fairing on. When I went to take off the old panels, some of the bolts were so tight that the whole female nut in the gas tank would spin and not allow you to remove the bolt and hence the panel. I had to cut the old panels around the bolts to get access to remove the bolts. I wound up pulling the bolt and nut out of the gas tank recess. I dont know if my dealer or the factory over tightened them. Now, I have 3 bolts which cannot fastened. I will eventually try to pu the nuts back into the gas tank. It really doesnt make a difference as the panels have so many other attachment points but having to cut my old panels off was kind of disappointing.
