I've been up there several times visiting relatives, but I always flew, and then just hung out around their places. I want to go up there on a bike and REALLY see things.

Having put several thousand miles on mine since buying it, I can officially say that for me, the only complaint I have with the bike is its tires when the terrain starts getting rough and/or loose.

But with the TKC80s due out this summer in Multistrada sizes, I am pretty sure that complaint will be a distant memory by next spring.

My 2010 with the oem re-flash is very smooth. i only ride in Sport, traction control off and find it very docile. Much more so then my VTR1000F was or my KTM 950. The 950 has much more low end response but the Ducati feels electric. Just very linear and smooth. Great for sport touring or urban as it is so easy to control. I did go to a 14t sprocket, which helps a bit but mainly helps at higher speed to avoid multiple downshifts.

Be sure to glue on the rubber thing on your shifter and the rubber things that hold the bottom of the luggage cases before they fall off. My shifter rubber was gone on my trip home from picking up my Multi.

Why didn't someone tell me that before one of them fell off?

That sure is a beautiful color. I'm biased of course but I think you made the right choice.

Also, if you had let us know you had an M3 when you were asking for advice over at ducati.ms we probably would have encouraged you that much more to go for the Multi. To me it would feel like a let down to get out of a beast of a car and then get on a pussycat of a bike. Sweet bike and sweet car.

Congrats

Yeah I guess driving an M3 should be a clue that I'd do better on a ducati than a GS, huh . Thanks.

I asked about getting my wee crated up and the salesman said all the B.S. that could happen as far as shipping damage. Of course you have to dispose of the container too or is that refundable?

How do you people get it in the crate? And do you save a bit of money? Warranty problems?

Nice Ti color man.
