Crikey Paul, what led to that turn of events? Not saying it's good or bad, just curious as a cat how it came about.

Not quite sure myself to be honest. Fancied something a bit sexier than the ten.
It may come back to bite me - but at this moment i really don't care that much.
Looking forward to picking it up. As long as the bloody insurance pick up the phone soon then i'll be a happy bunny. If not i may have to wait for a while to take delivery. However - as the really crap weather is just around the next corner, time is on my side.

I know the feeling well. After my test ride, I was parched from salivating like a St Bernard at the beach, and if they'd have asked for a kidney in the deal I'd have asked them for a knife. Phenomenal bike really. Just beware, it WILL bring out your inner child, and if that child happens to be a delinquent with impulse control issues (like myself ), your license may be in for a shock.

Safe riding.

It's the most addictive bike I've owned, bar none. You'll enjoy the hell out of it.

I hate to say it - but it was my inner child that swayed the deal. It's bright red and has 30 odd bhp more and 40 kgs less than my S10.
You know it makes sense...

That's one of the best sales lines I've witnessed ever.

Ditto. Ducati red. Very different color for me.......always been a black, silver or blue type.

But it is Italian so it must be red.

I'm still resisting, but I have been there before, so I know maybe too much. We will see what the 13 brings, if I can wait.

the bug got me too!

Picked up my 2012 1200 touring edition on Tuesday. I've ridden Harley's for years, had a Buell, even had an S4 Monster at one pontl, but this bike has simply blown my mind. Never have I had so much fun and been so comfortable. Power.. ridiculous, handling and weight.. ridiculous, comfort... ridiculous! Absolutely the best motorcycle I've owned to date and the first NEW bike I've bought in many many years. Not a single bit of buyers remorse. Love it! Got a dang good deal as well!

+1 for Aztec Spacers. Best thing you can do for wind management! I love it.

I have searched and have not found anything at all......

Anyone have any pictures/suggestions on where to mount the Sargent heated seat controllers? I have the rider and pillion to find a nice convenient location for.

Thanks,
RCA
