Someone has never owned a 950/990 KTM....one of the most dependable and most enjoyable bikes I have ever owned and that has been quite a few....

I also do not care for the looks of the new KTM, bland ...Multi beats it in the looks department handsdown...

You'll be fine at 5'11". That's all I've got and I can flatfoot the bike easily. The 29' inseam should not impede you either once you swing your leg over the bike. Though I may have a bit more inseam than you do, I'm not long legged for my height. It's quite narrow at the waist as you'll find out once you straddle it. I don't think you are all that different dimensionally from me, and I find this bike easy to noodle around on.

The money is another story though. They are proud of them, no doubt. You will need to work harder on reasons not to get one!

Agreed. Though I have no KTM experience whatsoever I hope it works for them. I feel the same about the Caponord. Aprilia could stand to get on base with that bike as well, though it doesn't sound like it will disrupt the Multi's momentum based on the specs.
But for somebody looking to get a European bike with a lot of technojiz for not too much money, it could be a solid choice too.
I'm eager to see it, but then I like Aprilias and have since they arrived on these shores. I bought my first Aprilia in 2000 and have been rooting for them ever since.

I recently bought this 2012 Multi - never thought I would pick buy one but after a test ride and what appeared a great deal due to clear a 2012 model Touring S this is now mine........

Thanks! Yes, it is getting harder to find reasons not to buy one! Just need to ride one and if that goes well... get out the checkbook.
