Does anyone have a trick for opening the key fob to replace the battery ? I've tried everything except a Hammer and mine will not budge.

Thanks.

Put a screwdriver in the space along the edge and don't be scared to give it a twist. The circutboard is loose so be careful once it opens.

Do you put it in the corner where the pictures show it in he manual or in the middle of the side ?

Thanks

I put it in the middle of the side. I had pecked away at it but was afraid to break it so I handed it to a tech when I happened to be at the dealer and she just jabbed and twisted. It looks scary but it doesn't hurt it.

joining the mts crowd tomorrow, trading my 05 goldwing in for a 13 mts GT at the dealer tomorrow. Been waiting for months.

Dealer texted me the other nite to tell me to come get it! :)

First mod will be to fit the garmin 660.

I know what you mean , feels like it will break the plastic , but it won't , still you'd think it could have been configured differently .

SM, why did you decide to sell the Strada?

I test road one last weekend, pretty amazing bike. It's way different than your Stelvio. It seems like a nice bike to keep in the stable if you can swing it.

Just curious.....

It's still rainy and cold up here, so this is what substitutes for riding until the season gets serious. I don't know what Obie's excuse is

I am braving the weather today to have a baseline dyno pull done. The local dealer has a "dyno day" going on, so I figured I'd take advantage of that. Otherwise it would be just another day on the boards.

I have been to Calgary several times. First time I went it was winter. I came back much later and damned if it wasn't still winter! A summer ride over the hills for the Stampede and a filming session perhaps? It would be a hell of a ride!
I'm in for the beer, but I already did mine. I did it when the bike was 2 days old and used Ventureshield instead of 3M. I bought a pre-cut kit for the Multistrada and it took about 5 hrs to do the bike and both side panniers, not hurrying. It was fairly easy, just tedious.

Now if we could ever get some decent Calgary weather we could actually ride these things...

I picked up my mts GT today. Big thanks to NPR ducati in Bogart GA for another pain free transaction.

170 miles home from the dealer took likes of nice twistie roads (btw- it was 36 degrees when I rode my goldwing up this morning! COLD, that's april in GA!)

In sport mode, this bike is a blast in twisties, and very easy to ride quickly thru the curves, Very confidence inspiring. Highway speeds on the interstate weren't a problem, you get wind noise but of course the windscreen and front is tiny compared to my wing.

I'd ridden a 2010 when they first came out, and wasn't taken with it. rode a 12 late last year and really liked it and convinced me to buy. I am glad I went for a 13, the fueling on this bike is smooth at all rpm ranges and is the best of any ducati I've owned ( I thought the pani was good).

The boxes are massive but will work well for long trips, I suspect I'll get the smaller covers or just use the top box for around town or short trips.

The menu, start up and such take a bit of getting used to, not as intuitive as my other bikes.

Very happy with this scoot!
