Lots of people are griping about the 4.5gal capacity and potential adventure-touring shortfalls. If you made something that got the total capacity to 6gal or better, I think you'd have a hot seller. Just make sure (there's always a caveat, isn't there) that it'd be compatible with the major luggage players.



BTW, the bash plate looks kickass. Can't wait to see the crash bars.

Good point, but i dont want to create a pre-order list until we have pricing worked out if that makes sense. Basically if i do a list and then the pricing comes out quite expensive i think we'll have a 'you only charge that much as everybody says they want them' situation.

We're waiting on quotes from the pipe-bending contractor. As Dave mentioned above we have found a really top-notch company who have done amazing prototypes, but have yet to give us a quote for volume(or even for one-offs). Also we need to do a few sets to find out how much time is in each. On top of this the fitting kits we're putting together are looking to be quite expensive, as they're all stainless fasteners and machined Ali spacers. For example one of the main M10 flanged top frame bolts in stainless is looking like costing us $5.

So I will start a pre-order list as soon as we have an accurate price. First batch will probably be 25, so i wouldnt worry too much about availability.

Hey Nate,

This guy was asking about rally bashplates with tool boxes and water holders and i think i under-quoted badly as well.

I dont really want to get involved with making Aluminium tanks as ive seen them being a nightmare to keep sealed and generally expensive and unreliable. I'll look into it but its definately not high on the priority list.

Maybe ask you-know-who thats currently working on plastic roto-moulding tanks for another bike. I feel this may be the answer you need......

+1 on the bars, I have the basher and the prototype bars look really good.
I know they've been doing some changes on the site, so hopefully it's temporary.
