What a great start!
Outstanding start. We stayed in the "ADV" motel with Duke and Tami last summer. Great hosts!

My part doesn't come 'til near the end.....which is a good thing, as I'm traveling across the US & won't be home 'til about the 25th or so. Great RR guys. Chuck, hope all is well!

I've seen a lot of cliff hangers in ride reports but this one hanging with Ike chasing Chuck off is just too much. Waiting impatiently to find out if all is OK with him and his family. Has anyone heard from him?

General Lee is out of the building
General Lee is out of the building.
I've stolen General Lee for quite awhile---were going to hook up in Missouri awhile as my foot is in pretty good shape---good enough to ride, but not quite good enough to work----I'll bring him back in one piece--and he'll have more tales to tell So on with this tale gentlemen

Ike
I'm Baaack! Still don't have the roof and fence fixed from Ike but all services are back and running - for us anyway - the next street over is still dark. Here are a few pics.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Back to normal except for the roof and fence ![]() Will start on the TAT report later today after chain sawing an oak tree. Later, Chuck |

Those are some awful pictures from IKE.
I'm stuck in Houston for the foreseeable future with a load of ICE for disaster relief. Theres prolly a 1000 trucks around here just waiting for word on a place to go. Every one of them is drawing $800 a day. So they can keep two of my trucks here. Hard to pass up free money. But I'd rather get the load off and go home.
