See there,
You're not near as dumb as you thought you were

That's all there is to it we get 18 hours to post up a new tag after we have claimed the current one.

BTW...they have to be NEW pics...no old ones that you just happen to have.

I tried three times to get the photos I took to upload into the thread but the rediculously small file size of 149.kb would not take my upload .

Oh well , guess it doesn't count if my photos want upload . I just simply do not know how to take such a low quality photo as to end up with a 149kb file size .

Continue on gentlemen .
Attachments are a pain on this forum...

You can either re-size them in your computer....or upload them to a hosting service 1st (like smugmug or photobucket)

It'll make things much easier.

Second Photo

TAG CLAIMED !!!!!!!!!!!

Here is the second Photo . It is called Bridel Veil Falls on Hwy 64 between Highlands Nc andFranklin NC .

I will have a new TAG by this evening for sure . But I have some riding to do to get there .

It was too fun to be the 1st one to take the tag . You gotta watch old PO-SLOKE . He may be slow and always behind the pack , but he has the ability to go on a minutes notice .

Good job Po-Sloke.

I'm just a few minutes from Bridal Veil Falls so didn't think I should snag such an easy one. Look forward to playing soon, though.

Brand New Tag

Ok Gang ,

I was thinking of all kinds of ways to make this a challenge to the next person to tag me . But instead , I thought I would make it easy . In fact easy as pie . My thinking on this is that if I simplified my new tag , that it would maybe generate some intersting fast paced efforts to get some photos ot The Tour De Pisgah out there .

Anyway , here is my tag . The tricky part is the time frame that some has to pick up the tag and get a new tag posted within 18 hours . Think about it . By the time they ride to the tag get their tag posted , then get a chance to tag another site , they will be in a squeeze for time . Think about it ........... Here is my new tag ....

HINT :::: Home of TDP III , and sounds like BRMC !!!! See the flag in the background ? From the road you can see it and the Campground !!!!

I came up with the 18 hr thing b/c some of the other state tags were taking days to get a new tag. What do the rest of the people think do we need to lengthen it or just do away with a time limit? I just hate to have to wait for 2 days to get a new tag posted. Some folks that can ride during the week might want to tag, and then the weekend guys nab the tag and wait all week to put up a new one. Talk to me what do yall think. BTW I will be taking the camera to work tonite and will nab this in the AM if noones gets it.

Personally , I say leave it at 18 hours . It will prevent folks from picking up a tag and holding it for eternity . IMHO of course .

Besides , right now , there are over 100 riders on their way to this area as we type . The 18 hour time frame will motivate lots of folks to get lots of photos . And we all like lot's of photos ya know . LOL

I agree with you in trying to prevent the waiting all week before posting a tag that was nabbed during the week . Thats what makes the current time fram work .
