Truthfully, I *wanted* to major in physics, but could NOT pass a course, so I thought, "hey, maybe this is not really for me, what else can I do?" and since I had managed to pass a few math courses, why not? So, I headed in a southwesterly direction from Mars Hill.
And on my way, I found myself wondering if MarsHill came from bastardized spelling of Marshall

All along my route, I kept dodging big thunderstorms. I'm glad I managed to stay out of it through that section, cuz a big rain would have turned the route into a big sandy mush.

I wondered if a big rain would send all of these deceased folks floating out into the road.
(I took great Paynes to get the pic of this chapel)

A couple of turns later, and I was in this beautiful valley

And as I continued southwesterly, this sign let me know that I was almost there.

And as I made my way up out of the valley, I thought about how I keep being disappointed about not seeing any dam beavers.

And suddenly I was there.

At that point, I was just a few miles north of I-40. And while I wanted to hit the SC tag, I knew it was time to book it home via GSMexp.

that's what I get for working on the starter switch last night while it was cool after the rain and sleeping in because of all the fog

this was about 4:30 this AM ... this unemployment is really doing ugly things to my schedule
