Oh it is very much SO ...NC State 1976 and yes I'm

Truthfully, I *wanted* to major in physics, but could NOT pass a course, so I thought, "hey, maybe this is not really for me, what else can I do?" and since I had managed to pass a few math courses, why not? I ended up in the computer biz by a lucky chance and have been working in the IT world ever since.

hijack off!

Other photos are uploading right this second.

I'll add them with some clues momentarily.

Sorry. It's been a day.

So, I headed in a southwesterly direction from Mars Hill.
And on my way, I found myself wondering if MarsHill came from bastardized spelling of Marshall

All along my route, I kept dodging big thunderstorms. I'm glad I managed to stay out of it through that section, cuz a big rain would have turned the route into a big sandy mush.

I wondered if a big rain would send all of these deceased folks floating out into the road.
(I took great Paynes to get the pic of this chapel)

A couple of turns later, and I was in this beautiful valley

And as I continued southwesterly, this sign let me know that I was almost there.

And as I made my way up out of the valley, I thought about how I keep being disappointed about not seeing any dam beavers.

And suddenly I was there.

At that point, I was just a few miles north of I-40. And while I wanted to hit the SC tag, I knew it was time to book it home via GSMexp.

I thought it looked familiar but I couldn't place it without those clues. If only I had time to get it, or time to place a new one.

that's what I get for working on the starter switch last night while it was cool after the rain and sleeping in because of all the fog

this was about 4:30 this AM ... this unemployment is really doing ugly things to my schedule

good clews Raw

now, do you feel an urge to check back here for the new tag?

if it goes a couple hours, will you feel impatient for a new tag?

if so, step up on the soapbox and repeat after me

"Hi I'm RAW and I'm a tag-o-rama addict ....."

good grab BluRidgRidr

uhhh ....

where's the new tag, it's been 2 hours and 19 minutes already ????

Awesome! That was quick!

What was your route to the tag location?

Some fun riding in that area (though you gotta be on the lookout for farm equipment and horses!).
