I think it depends on where you put it on the bike. That video I shot looks OK. Not too much bounce.

i used a RAM mount on my yamaha, the one that fits over the handlebar clamp. i still had vibration, but it depended on how fast i went or what gear is was in due to the engine vibration. it is even worse on my buell and not worth using. i but might try again, but mount it differently.

heres a clip from a trip to france a couple of years ago going ove the Millau viaduct. vibes aren't too bad at 70mph

some people mount the camera on a tank bag, but im not sure how

as for this thread, like many others i am enjoying it. it lets me see parts of the world i may never get the chance to travel to. thanks for that DP

I've tried a few different mounts and spent too much $$$$$ on them. I prefer my paws. When I need to stop and get off the bike for a quick animal shot I don't have to be disconnecting the camera. But, that's just me and my life style.
As soon as the weather gets more better I'm gonna go out an practice left hand picture taking.

I know! I need to not do this stuff!

Here is another option that helps reduce problems from vibration.

Full disclosure: I am designer for the manufacturer.

A dedicated video recorder, not a still camera w/video.

Awesome

Five days and many hours and I finally made it to the end, now I just need to keep on top of it so I don't get twenty pages behind

Sweet photos, N Cal is on my 'to do' list now.

TDP, keep up the good work and heal strong!

Still 14th most-read RR ever, but gaining fast.

In terms of posts to the thread, it's sixth overall, but two of those are "post your best pic of xyz". Of actual ride reports, this one is fourth in number of posts behind Shoganai, Kaneman, and SV.

Rarefied air, Peach.
