Best wishes for a speedy recovery to you. Your thread here keeps me coming back to advrider regularly to see what my DP has been up to. My heart sank when I read and saw the pictures. I'm so glad your OK. I really enjoy your outlook on life. Please keep us all informed and let us know if there is anything we can do.

Good Morning!!
Still no police report yet......looks like I'm going to have to wait a few days.
No word on the bike and I go back for more xrays & MRI on Thurs for the wrist and poss shoulder. Sad to say it's still hurting the same.

And of course, it's beautiful out!!
Trying to get what work done that I can, but frustrated that I can't do more. Just like the riding, the cooking is a huge part of my life, not just my business.

I don't mind taking a break every now and then, but to me, 6 days is too long right now.

Sooooo, if anyone is wondering what they can do for me, it would be to wish me patience. It's not something that comes naturally in my world.
Perhaps this is the universe teaching me a lesson.
Yes, indeed, it could have been worse. I know that.
But right now it sucks!

Definitely a thoroughbred chomping at the bit. :)

loveyoumeanit.

Use the insurance money to buy some?

I'd be awful pissed at the PD for not being able to get a report within in a day or two. When my car got totalled at a red light in an ice storm, it took 36 hours.

There, there ...

Glad to see the pics coming back ... It's about time!

Make motorcycle sounds - "VROOM! VROOM!" as you walk.

Really, tDP, the impatience seems a very good sign. It's great to see you out and about.

Well, it'll come out sooner or later.
Unfortunately, I only had liability insurance on the bike.
I mistakenly thought I had full coverage.
It was a shock to find that out.
So now I have no choice but to wait for the police report.
Until then, there is nothing I can do.
All of the other drivers info is on it. I have absolutley no info on her, other than she drives a Honda with a big dent in the front door and fender.

The only good news was that I owned the bike outright.

Live and learn.
Double check your policies, talk to a human and don't do it on line, as convenient as it seems.

Oh my, TDP. Been off the board for awhile and just found out about your accident. So sorry! Been wondering why I haven't seen you around town recently. Hope you heal well and return to motorcycling soon. Be patient, it'll happen.
