Ok !! Let's can the high viz/helmet topic here!!
I don't want it turning in to an argument.

It's still about riding.

Shit happens.

NO WAY TO CONTROL THAT.
I'm OK with it.

The driver made a mistake.
I've made plenty in my lifetime.

I still love you all for all the concern and care!!!!
Still waiting, arms crossed, toes tapping and basically feeling like I'm going to pop at the seams.
Time for some exercise!

Thanks.
Dr appt tomorow for more xrays. He wanted everything to 'calm down' before they took more pictures.
He thinks it may be the scaphoid.
All I know is it hurts pretty good.

Time for some exercise!

And with this I'd like to add that all you can really do is protect yourself.
Wear all of your gear, pay attention, check over your bike before you jump on and roll, knowing this is a very dangerous sport and anything can happen at anytime.

I generally try to be hyper aware of my surroundings, road condition and traffic.
But I also own the fact that because I am on 2 wheels and no metal around me, that I am vulnerable.

It's a calculated risk
and the positive reward of excellent riding is like no other.

So get out there and ride for me!!!!!!

OK - got out yesterday. Almost no pics though, enjoyed being out too much. Did get a pic of a cool bridge that I thought you might like. I know the Golden Gate bridge is one of THE BEST bridges out there, but this one is pretty cool.

World's highest suspension bridge, Royal Gorge. 1053 feet above the Arkansas River.
