I know this is taking forever to finish, but I'm slammed with work and am going through most of the photos for the first time as I post.
Kind of cool though, as I'm reliving the experience too.

Stay tuned for more...........

I hope you're enjoying the scenery as much as I did.

Here's some cool glacier info.
I find them quite fascinating.

A great write up

you have a style of your own and seem to see things from a different perspective, also with a great sense humour.

as for then glacier link, that was interesting, especially after seeing a couple in the Alps, so i searched for a link about stuff that eventually comes out of glaciers as they move down . remains of airplane crashes and other stuff. a bit gruesome for some!

When is the last time you actually saw a happy US Guvment employee? Miserable bastages all of them even with their $72K average salary.

No back to your regular program.

Day 7

Bear Glacier...
Was really happy to get some sun here.
The first time I saw it was late in the day, and as magnificent as it was then,
way better in the bright am.
looks like a mean saucer run to me..
story #36 of 742 of how I ended up in the emergency room...

I am most certian if one fell there, THAT would leave a mark....

Day 7

Quest for fuel...

Lots of road signs that say food or fuel around BC,
but best, as I learned, not to rely that these are indeed open.

With heavy heart and light fuel tank I see one of those questionable fuel signs and decide I have enough to make one of those trusting mistakes.
So down a mile + lightly marked road.

Gitanyow.
They have it.

Grumpy looking bikes....

And cool totem poles....

Verbage....

That was probably one of the loneliest, oddest places I stopped.
Friendly enough gal at the register.
Cold iced tea in the fridge.
Some gummy bears in a ziploc bag,
but an overwhelming sense of nothingness.
Like people lived there, but not because they wanted to.

Rode off shaking my head a little...
