Thanks again all for the kind words.
It's been an interesting couple of years for sure.
The death of my 'father' last year and the loss of my step father almost exactly one year later and some other unusual mishaps along the way.
I had wanted to go north again this year, but the timing is off due to the circumstances.
So, we'll see….
When I told him I wanted to go back where I went last year (only armed with better more indestructible cameras ) he said go 'somewhere you haven't been before'.
So, that I will do….

I'll kick off the photo sequence of my last decent ride with this pic….
This is Ocean Beach in SF.
This was the last time Sky saw the ocean and the beach live.
He passed peacefully at home 2 weeks later.

Yeah, that's what I usually do too. Not this time. I'm going somewhere I haven't been before.

Beautiful tribute photo .

Now that is some awesome good advice right there and exactly what I'm going to do on my next adventure.

Sorry about your loss. Too bad we won't see you up this way soon.
We try to pick new directions each year, living on the left coast makes it tough to go west though.

go 'somewhere you haven't been before'.

Headed that way in two weeks.... Somewhere I've never been before.. Need some downtime and on the seat behind the handlebars is the perfect spot. Engine Humming, cool breeze, and the sun.. Hugs Peach..

So how far north or east are you going? Trust me, you are supposed to bury your parents. Have fun on your trip.

Making it to my early 50's, I'll take every birthday I can get. I know too many folks who don't see any more birthdays.....

I try to be more like our dogs...they know how to live in the moment.

Sorry TDP

I hope you are able to find your joy, after all the loss.
Our loved ones would not want us to stop living our lives, in mourning for the loss of theirs.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of the world through your eyes.
